Position Summary: This role entails coordinating the maintenance, acquisition, and disposal of RCMP police vehicles. The successful candidate will supervise repair work, conduct vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate inventories. Responsibilities include obtaining quotes, liaising with external agencies, and providing administrative support for non-emergency complaints, subpoena tracking, police information checks, transcribing statements, and civil fingerprinting. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and handles critical incidents with discretion.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary administrative or criminology courses.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a policing environment.
  • Knowledge of Criminal Code, Federal and Provincial statutes, Municipal Bylaws, Records Management Systems, and RCMP operations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain RCMP Reliability Status clearance.
  • Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License.
  • Fleet experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of PRIME, TEAM, JUSTIN.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
